Firm Overview

Stoken Asset Management LLC (“SAM”) is a registered investment advisor providing quantitative asset management services to individuals and institutions. The firm believes that markets are difficult, if not impossible, to predict and that diversification is no longer enough to manage portfolio risk. Our view is that asset classes should be treated independently, allowing for material shifts in asset allocation as market patterns emerge.

Guiding Principles

Stewardship: As a Registered Investment Advisor (“RIA”), Stoken Asset Management is held to a fiduciary standard. We are grounded in the principle of placing clients’ interests first, a fundamental standard of care that many financial advisors and brokers, who are held to a suitability standard, are not required to meet. Successful investing requires a long-term commitment from our clients - we consider the trust conferred upon us by our clients to be our highest-order and most valuable asset.

Alignment of Interests: We are structured to insure that our interests are aligned with those of our clients. Our fees are calculated as a percentage of the market value of assets, so the fees we generate increase only as the value of our clients’ assets grow. We do not receive any compensation in the form of commissions or discounts from the sale of financial products, a structure that we believe has the potential to create conflicts of interest. Finally, we believe in significantly investing our personal capital right alongside our clients'.

Transparency: We believe that clear and consistent communication is fundamental to building a successful long-term relationship. Our goal is to educate clients on our investing process, and to keep them fully-informed of how our compensation, and any third-party fees, will impact their account. Transparency – from our fee structure to the security of our clients’ assets – is a top priority.

Discipline: Our investment strategy is grounded in tested theory and real-world experience, with proven research and analytical rigor forming the foundation of our investment approach. We practice exceptionally disciplined investment and portfolio implementation, applying a consistent, unemotional and systematic process.

Code of Ethics: As a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), we adhere to the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Board of Standards Code of Ethics: Integrity, Objectivity, Competence, Fairness, Confidentiality, Professionalism, and Diligence.
